Ryan Mason now odds-on favourite for West Brom job amid Tottenham developments
Ryan Mason has now emerged to take over as West Brom manager this summer.
The Baggies have been on the lookout for a new head coach since the departure of Tony Mowbray back in April.
This has seen a number of names be linked to the vacant role at The Hawthorns, with Eric Ramsay and John Mousinho linked in recent weeks.
Despite a variety of potential candidates, it looks as if Mason could be set to take up the role after a turbulent spell at Tottenham in recent weeks.

Mason favourite to be West Brom manager
It is certainly going to be a pre-season full of intrigue in the Black Country as the manager situation is yet to be sorted by the hierarchy.
Although the transfer window is not yet open, there is likely to be a desire to bring in a new boss beforehand to set out a transfer strategy.
With Semi Ajayi and Grady Diangana already confirming their contract exits, with Tom Fellows also linked with a move away, there is likely to be a number of changes in B71.
One of which is certainly going to be in the dugout, with a true replacement for Carlos Corberan being massively needed.
This could prove to be Tottenham assistant Mason, who has now emerged as the favourite to take over with Bet Victor (23 May), putting him at 1/2 odds to become Baggies boss.
It appears these odds have been slashed after Spurs won the Europa League in Bilbao, but Ange Postecoglou continues to be linked with the sack.
With the 33-year-old coach claiming silverware with the Lilywhites, now a journey into life as a head coach could be set to get underway at The Hawthorns.

Mason could be set for Tottenham exit
Despite picking up a historic win against Manchester United in the final in Bilbao, it does feel like the Australian head coach could soon be sacked.
The Premier League season has been so poor that it would make total sense for Daniel Levy to pull the trigger in the summer.
Position | Club | Games played | Goal difference | Points |
17. | Tottenham | 37 | +2 | 38 |
18. | Leicester City | 37 | -45 | 25 |
19. | Ipswich Town | 37 | -44 | 22 |
20. | Southampton | 37 | -59 | 12 |
That could prove to be the perfect storm for the Baggies to work with as they look to bring in Mason as their new head coach, ready for the Championship campaign.
