Tottenham to decide as Yang Min-hyeok to West Brom transfer claim made

Shilen Patel finally pulled the trigger and we now know it is Ryan Mason who is the man to take West Brom forward.

After falling out of the Championship play-off places in the final run of the season, the Baggies have plenty of work to do to be in a better place at the start of the next campaign.

With that in mind, Mason will be eager to hit the ground running and could be prepared to turn to his former side in Tottenham.

Mason could poach Tottenham gems for West Brom

Although West Brom are in a more stable place under Patel, PSR regulations are still something to consider and Albion have to be shrewd with their business this summer.

With Mason having left Tottenham, where he worked his way up through the coaching ranks to become assistant manager to Ange Postecoglou, there could well be a link to be made there.

The 33-year-old left North London on good terms, so if there are deals that would be mutually beneficial, it could well be a viable option.

It has already been reported that the new manager is keen to bring Mikey Moore to The Hawthorns with him and there could be further deals to make.

According to Football.London (4 June), one of those could be Yang Min-hyeok, who spent the second half of the season on loan with QPR.

The report states that another loan deal could be on the cards this summer, although the 19-year-old is keen to make his case during pre-season with Spurs.

It will be up to his parent club whether he stays put, returns to the Championship or goes elsewhere, but the Baggies will surely be keeping an eye.

West Brom can make use of Mason links at Spurs

Naturally, West Brom don’t want to do all of their summer business with Tottenham – even if there are plenty of talented youngsters to be signed on loan.

Permanent additions are necessary, as well as experience and those who are already cut out for men’s football in the second tier.

However, where necessary, using the links Mason has to former club Tottenham could be a good way to get some exciting prospects in the door for a good deal.

There is plenty to consider at The Hawthorns, and with different opportunities on the table, solid progress should be made.
