Romelu Lukaku and Isaac Price react as blockbuster transfer completed

Isaac Price has quickly established himself as one of West Brom’s brightest young talents.

The 21-year-old only joined the Baggies back in January, but immediately became a reliable and consistent performer during the latter stages of the season under Tony Mowbray.

Price has also gained plenty of recognition on the international stage, and recently scored the only goal of the game in Northern Ireland’s victory over Iceland on Tuesday (10 June).

He is one of several players who will be hoping to kick on at The Hawthorns next season, and he will be desperate to become a central part of Ryan Mason’s long-term plans for the team.

Price and Lukaku react to De Bruyne transfer

Price has outlined himself as a particularly promising midfield talent following his 18-month stint in Belgium with Standard Liege, and there are already signs that the West Brom man could be destined for a big move further down the line.

The playmaker has already caught the eye at the West Midlands outfit, and it would be no surprise to see him playing Premier League football at some point in the next few years.

As with many up-and-coming midfielders, he will surely have taken influence from Kevin De Bruyne into his game.

The Belgian international has spent the best part of a decade terrorising Premier League defences for Manchester City, but he has now departed for Napoli.

The news was announced by the Italian giants on Thursday (12 June), and Price responded by liking the post on Instagram.

The post was also liked by former Baggies loan hero Romelu Lukaku, who is now set to become a teammate of De Bruyne at club level as well as internationally.

Price has a big season ahead of him

With new boss Mason having only just begun his tenure, now is the perfect time for Price to impress and take his game to the next level.

Mason has a reputation for being fantastic at developing young players, and if Price can benefit from that, he could follow in the footsteps of his fellow youngster Tom Fellows and become an irreplaceable figure at The Hawthorns.

We have seen several attack-minded players star in the Championship before moving to the Premier League in recent years, if Price continues to develop as expected, then he could become one of the next to make the jump.
