West Brom news round-up: Heggem exit update as new striker identified
West Brom fans have reason to look forward with optimism now Ryan Mason is in place at The Hawthorns.
Shilen Patel certainly took his time deliberating over the decision of who would replace Tony Mowbray as the new permanent manager.
After missing out on a top-six finish this term, the aims for next season are clear, and Mason needs support to get his side in the right place to achieve those.

Here, West Brom News rounds up all the latest news coming out of The Hawthorns on 12 June.
Isaac Price catches attention on international stage
Since joining West Brom during the winter window, Isaac Price has slowly caught the eye.
Although he has shown his quality, injury issues and playing in a Mowbray side that struggled at times, means that Albion fans didn’t necessarily see the best of him.
However, the midfielder certainly impressed away from The Hawthorns, scoring on international duty for Northern Ireland.
His performance earned plenty of plaudits, and if Price can be at his best for the Baggies next term, he will certainly be someone to get excited about.
At just 21-years-old, Price could well be adding value to his price tag now for a future sale away from the Black Country.

West Brom want Emil Riis Jakobsen
Grady Diangana has left West Brom upon the expiry of his contract, leaving Mason needing to bring in some attacking reinforcements to his side.
Tom Fellows and Daryl Dike have also been linked with moves away from the Black Country this summer, putting the pressure on to bring good enough talent into The Hawthorns.
With that in mind, Emil Riis Jakobsen has been added to the list of targets for the Albion.
The likes of Sheffield United and Coventry City are also interested in the former Preston forward for next season, which could make the battle a tough one for Mason’s men.
Nevertheless, securing a signing like this would be a real statement of intent for where West Brom want to be.

Torbjorn Heggem exit update emerges
Although he only joined West Brom last summer, Torbjorn Heggem could be on his way out of The Hawthorns already.
The defender has had an excellent season and could well be a core part of Mason’s side next term, but his high quality has led to attention from elsewhere.

According to Italian newspaper Corriere di Bologna (12 June, page 12), Serie A side Bologna are interested in recruiting the 26-year-old this summer.
An opportunity in Italy’s top flight could prove hard to turn down for Heggem, but as Mason looks to improve his side rather than weaken, this would be a big loss.
