West Brom price the game reasonably to ensure maximum supporter footfall

The Baggies’ ‘Clash of the Legends: Home Nations vs Rest of the World’ at the Hawthorns is a brilliant initiative to mark the stadium’s 125th anniversary.

By bringing back club legends like Brunt, Morrison and Yacob, the event taps into the club’s rich history, fostering nostalgia and unity among fans.

Hosting this charity match, with all proceeds supporting The Albion Foundation, demonstrates a commitment to community impact, funding vital local programs.

The affordable ticket prices – £12.50 for adults and £5 for children – ensure accessibility, encouraging families to join the celebration.

Building on the success of past legends’ games, this event promises a memorable occasion while reinforcing the club’s identity as a community pillar.

The inclusion of hospitality packages and plans for further anniversary events shows strategic planning, maximising engagement and fundraising.

This initiative strengthens fan connection, honours tradition and supports meaningful charitable work, making it a model for club-community synergy.
