West Brom ‘to sanction Brandon Austin transfer’ after Ryan Mason appointment
Tottenham goalkeeper Brandon Austin could potentially follow Ryan Mason to West Brom this summer transfer window.
Ipswich Town signed Alex Palmer from the Baggies in the winter transfer window, which came as a massive surprise for many fans due to his importance.
Joe Wildsmith and Josh Griffiths were subsequently the options at Tony Mowbray’s disposal, but the ex-Birmingham City head coach was sacked after failing to get a play-offs spot.
Mason has now been appointed at The Hawthorns, leaving him a no-brainer decision to make as the Albion look to reinforce their squad ahead of next season.

Mason to ask for Austin transfer at West Brom
Mason should ask the Baggies to sign Austin from Tottenham in the coming weeks, as they arguably need a new goalkeeper.
The West Midlands outfit may think about getting the 26-year-old on loan or a permanent transfer after Wildsmith and Griffiths failed to make much of an impact this season.
On January 4, the Englishman finally made his full debut for Spurs after 18 years at the club, putting in an impressive display in the North London outfit’s 2-1 loss to Newcastle United in the Premier League.
With Tottenham’s former assistant coach now at The Hawthorns, it wouldn’t be surprising to see him make a move for the shot-stopper.

Tottenham raid on cards at The Hawthorns after Mason arrival
Mikey Moore is another Spurs player Mason is looking to bring to the Black Country outfit ahead of next season.
The 17-year-old has shown a lot of potential at the North London outfit, but it remains to be seen what Thomas Frank thinks about him.
With the arrival of the Brentford boss at Tottenham, it wouldn’t be surprising to see them make a few attacking additions to their squad, leaving Moore’s future uncertain.
West Brom could be the perfect place for the English youngster to develop further, and Mason may be able to entice him to The Hawthorns.

Grady Diangana has left the Baggies, and a replacement is arguably needed for him, with Moore fitting the profile of the forward required.
As for Austin, he won’t be getting regular game time at Tottenham anytime soon, with Guglielmo Vicario the first choice over the years, and now Antonin Kinsky making an impression.
Will Lanksheare is another player whom the Albion could potentially consider signing on loan again from Spurs after bringing Mason in.
Whether Mason will raid Tottenham this summer remains to be seen.
