Moore ‘may push for West Brom move’ after early Frank transfer call at Tottenham

Mikey Moore could push to reunite with Ryan Mason at West Brom this summer.

The 17-year-old enjoyed his breakthrough season with Tottenham under Mason’s tutelage, but could see his role change after the departure of Ange Postecoglou.

Mason, who is a big fan of Moore, will be well aware of his potential, having worked closely with the forward at Tottenham for several seasons.

The 34-year-old could look to bring the winger to The Hawthorns, and has been handed a boost in his pursuit of the teenager following the latest developments in North London.

Thomas Frank is willing to give Manor Solomon a chance

Mason’s arrival in the West Midlands could see West Brom move for some of Spurs’ younger players, such as midfielder Alfie Divine

Supporters at The Hawthorns are getting impatient with the lack of movement in the market, especially given West Brom’s recent ticket price increase.

The transfer of Moore would certainly win fans over, as the Baggies are in desperate need of exciting wingers following the departure of Grady Diangana.

They might have been handed a boost as, according to Sacha Tavolieri (14 June), Thomas Frank looks set to give Manor Solomon a chance to reignite his Tottenham career.

The Israeli winger will be assessed during pre-season, and with the permanent signing of Mathys Tel being announced, it could see Moore have his game time limited at Tottenham.

The England Under-19 international may see these developments as a barrier to his development and could push for a move to West Brom.

Moore would bring excitement to The Hawthorns

One of Mason’s first tasks in his new post is to improve West Brom’s attacking output.

Rising star Tom Fellows practically handled the Baggies’ burden to create single-handedly this season, registering nine assists more than the next player, while Josh Maja was the only player to reach double figures in goals.

The arrival of Moore would help lift the burden off both of their shoulders, as he has shown to be a very creative winger while also having a keen eye for goal, especially at youth level.

If Mason can successfully integrate him into the squad and help him adapt to the physical demands of the Championship, Moore could propel the club much closer to the playoff places next season.
