West Brom backed to pull off ‘great deal’ for Moore in Birmingham blow
West Brom are hoping to seal the signing of Tottenham starlet Mikey Moore this summer.
New manager Ryan Mason knows Moore well, having worked with the teenager last season as Ange Postecoglou’s assistant.
After bursting onto the scene in North London this season, Moore has emerged as a top Premier League talent, and West Brom have been backed to seal a deal.

The 17-year-old scored his first professional goal on 30 January when he added Tottenham’s third against Elfsborg in the UEFA Europa League.
In doing so, Moore became the youngest-ever Englishman to score in a major European competition, breaking a 67-year record.

The Tottenham gem is currently captaining England at the Under-19 European Championships, where he scored from the penalty spot on Saturday (14 June) as the Young Lions drew 2-2 with Norway in their opening match.
Any confirmation over a move will likely come upon the teenager’s return to England.
Excitement over the youngster’s potential is certainly building in North London, and considerable thought will be put into any loan move sanctioned.
And speaking exclusively to Football League World (15 June), Lee Hendrie thinks signing Moore would be a fantastic move for West Brom.
“I think it speaks volumes of where [Mikey] Moore is at when big clubs in the Championship are looking at taking him on a loan deal to get some experience and regular game time,” Hendrie said.
“West Brom are a big football club with lots of potential, and I think that’s where they have to go down by getting loan players in.
“It doesn’t surprise me that bigger clubs in the Championship are looking to take him [Moore], and as I said previously, most teams in the Championship would want him because he’s got bags of potential, so I think it would be a great deal for West Brom.”

Moore could form a devastating wing pairing for West Brom
While Moore is capable of performing on either wing, the teenager often does the bulk of his damage from the left.
Cutting inside or driving toward the line, Moore is capable of using his youthfulness to beat his defender.
Some similarities could be drawn to one of the Baggies’ own, Tom Fellows – a dynamic winger in his own right. The two could create a dangerous duo out wide, with a collection of finishers in Daryl Dike, Josh Maja, or the potentially arriving Lawrence Shankland, to turn in from inside the box.
While the arrival of Moore is far from promised, the prospect should further excite West Brom fans, with Mason’s appointment set to mark a new dawn at the Hawthorns.
