West Brom ‘alarm bells ringing’ as worrying Isaac Price news emerges
Isaac Price has enjoyed his start to life at West Brom since his January move from Standard Liège.
Price quickly became an integral part of Tony Mowbray’s plans, and there are big expectations that he can kick on and become a star at The Hawthorns under Ryan Mason next term.
The 21-year-old is tipped for a big future and caught the eye away from West Brom recently, as he starred in Northern Ireland’s 1-0 victory over Iceland at Windsor Park (10 June).
Price’s performances at The Hawthorns have prompted concerns that West Brom may struggle to keep hold of him for long, and now those concerns look as though they could materialise sooner than the Baggies would have hoped.

Sunderland and Burnley have enquired about Price
It is always inevitable that clubs in the Championship have to contend with Premier League clubs sniffing around their biggest stars, and West Brom look set to face that exact issue with Price this summer.
The newly promoted duo of Sunderland and Burnley are both understood to have made enquiries to West Brom over potential moves for Price, according to SportsBoom (16 June).
The Premier League pair are believed to be keen to invest in Price, given that he has huge potential to improve even further. The midfielder is also thought to be drawing interest from Portsmouth, who narrowly survived relegation back to the third tier last season.
Price is expected to take on a more important role for West Brom next term, but this latest development will be of huge concern to the Midlands outfit.
The youngster has four years remaining on his current deal, but alarm bells will now be ringing at The Hawthorns that his future may be taken out of their hands to some extent.

West Brom must do everything they can to keep hold of Price
Price is still very early into his time at The Hawthorns, and West Brom should be doing everything they can to ensure he wears their shirt for another season at least.
The youngster has shown very positive signs during the early stages of his time with the Baggies, and is already making his £2.5million transfer fee look like a bargain.

West Brom will be hopeful of mounting a genuine promotion push under Mason next season, and Price is the type of player who is good enough to spearhead that charge.
Losing Price to another club would have lasting effects at Albion, beyond just serving as a huge blow for their chances next term. The Northern Ireland international already looks likely to command a substantial fee by Championship standards, and that fee will only increase with every impressive display that he churns out.
If West Brom can manage to keep him beyond this summer, then the potential fee they could receive is likely to have risen massively by the time the next opportunity to sell him comes around.
