Patel shares personal excitement as West Brom announce popular Hawthorns return

West Brom have seen multiple changes at The Hawthorns since Shilen Patel took over in February 2024.

The Baggies’ owner has overseen upgrades at The Hawthorns this summer ahead of the upcoming 2025/26 Championship season.

On top of this, Ryan Mason has also been appointed as the new West Brom manager as the Black Country club looks to return to the Premier League.

As well as Shilen Patel, Bilkul’s COO Ashish Patel also oversees key changes at the Baggies.

Ashish Patel overjoyed at Dave Bowler’s West Brom return

It was announced on Wednesday (25 June) that Dave Bowler had returned to West Brom

The popular Baggies figure previously spent two decades working in the communications department, writing for the programme, Albion News and co-commenting on the radio.

Now, Bowler has returned to become West Brom’s historian for the 125th anniversary of The Hawthorns, much to the delight of the fanbase.

On top of supporters, many of the Black Country club’s hierarchy are pleased that they managed to make the appointment, including Ashish Patel.

The COO took to X (25 June) to express his delight that he will be working with Bowler for the upcoming campaign.

He said: “Welcome back, Dave! Excited to get to work with you!”

Hype for the 2025/26 Championship season is on the rise

As the weeks go on, the hype for the upcoming season is only growing.

West Brom’s new kit release is set to happen in the coming weeks, while new signings are also expected.

A return to the Premier League is the dream, and with Mason now at the helm, there is now a hope that this can be achieved.
