Isaac Price update as West Brom star absent from pre-season training
Isaac Price was nowhere to be seen as West Brom’s pre-season training got underway.
West Brom have a huge summer ahead of them as they prepare for yet another Championship campaign, in which Ryan Mason will be hoping to take the Baggies back to the top flight.
Recruitment is the buzzword of the summer, and it will be no different for Albion as they look to bring several new faces to The Hawthorns, while also retaining the talent they currently have within their squad.
One of those talented stars to have been linked with a West Brom exit is Price, who was absent as the Baggies returned to training this week.

West Brom without several players as pre-season begins
Mason has a lot of work to do at West Brom to improve on the season that the Baggies had last time out, which ultimately led to the sacking of Tony Mowbray.
One of the key figures behind that push will be Price, who only recently jetted away with Northern Ireland for international duty, which is believed to be the reason behind his absence.

That is according to journalist Lewis Cox via X, who states that Price will return to training at a later date, alongside Callum Styles and Torbjorn Heggem, with Tom Fellows likely to be in a similar boat when he returns from England Under-21 duty.
Baggies supporters will be hoping that they all return unscathed, to give Mason as much time as possible to get his side prepared for the new campaign, with the fixture release imminent.
Mason needs to hit the ground running with Albion
The longer you stay in the Championship, the harder it is to get out of it, and Mason will be the one tasked with preventing that stay from getting any longer next season.
Recruitment will play a deciding role in the success that he can find with West Brom this season, and with several players already linked with a move to The Hawthorns, it is shaping up to be an exciting summer.
