West Brom transfer state of play: Done deals, latest rumours, likely next signing
West Brom have begun strengthening their squad ahead of their first season under Ryan Mason.
After missing the Championship play-offs last season, the Baggies need a successful summer transfer window to help their chances of a Premier League return.
Numerous players have been linked with moves to The Hawthorns, and one has made his move official in the past week.

West Brom News has provided a round-up of all the latest transfer stories thus far.
Nat Phillips becomes Mason’s first signing
West Brom finally got their summer business underway with the signing of Nat Phillips from Liverpool.
Phillips, 28, has moved to The Hawthorns for £3million on a three-year deal, ending his six-year spell at Anfield.
The Englishman had been sent on multiple loan deals before he departed from Merseyside, most recently making 32 appearances at Derby County last season.
Regarding departures, Semi Ajayi has joined Hull City on a free transfer, while goalkeeper Ted Cann has also moved to Rotherham.
Grady Diangana and John Swift will depart once their contracts expire, while Mason Holgate has returned to Everton after his loan spell.
Lawrence Shankland heavily linked amid contract offer
West Brom are looking to strengthen their forward line this summer, with Daryl Dike struggling with injuries since arriving in 2022.
Lawrence Shankland has been heavily linked with a move to The Hawthorns this summer, ahead of his contract at Hearts expiring.

The 29-year-old has a contract offer on the table with the Baggies, but is currently stalling on a decision as he assesses his options.
Elsewhere, Barry Bannan has become a target for Ryan Mason.
Bannan has been offered a 12-month contract, with the option of an extra year, as West Brom look to take advantage of Sheffield Wednesday’s financial problems.
Meanwhile, the Baggies look set to miss out on defender Jakov Medic, who could be set to join Norwich City from Ajax.
Will Lankshear likely to be West Brom’s next signing
Will Lankshear could be set for a return to the Baggies this summer.
Lankshear, 20, spent last season on loan at The Hawthorns, but failed to score or assist in 11 appearances.
However, Mason wants the Tottenham youngster as he looks to raid his former club for new signings.
Whether the deal is a loan or a permanent one remains to be seen, but given the familiar surroundings, a return to the Midlands would make sense for Lankshear.
