Brooks loan update emerges as West Brom ramp up transfer activity
West Brom are continuing their pursuit of David Brooks at Bournemouth.
The Wales international has emerged as a target for the Baggies in recent days after a tough few years with the Cherries.
After battling with illness, the 27-year-old has struggled to impose himself both at the Vitality and while on loan at Southampton.
It now appears that Ryan Mason wants to chance his arm at getting more out of the attacking midfielder as transfer talks roll on in B71.

Brooks talks continue at West Brom
There has been no shortage of links suggesting that Tom Fellows could complete a move away from the Albion this summer.
If the England under-21 international were to make a move away, there is no doubt that the wide man will need to be replaced adequately.
After a season where the 21-year-old picked up 18 Championship goal involvements, it will certainly be difficult to find a direct alternative.

With that being said, the Welshman could prove to be an ideal option at The Hawthorns, especially if Andoni Iraola’s side are willing to part ways this summer.
Genuine interest from the Baggies has already been reported and could be activated as the window goes on.
Now, DOOD has reported via X (26 June) that talks are ongoing over a potential loan deal for Brooks with Bournemouth.
Brooks could shine at West Brom
The former Sheffield United man has undoubted quality that could be unleashed if given a true chance in the West Midlands.
It is fair to say that his signing would be seen as a coup for Albion, helping to form an already excellent looking forward line at this stage.
Brooks coming in to link up with the likes of Josh Maja, Mikey Johnston and Daryl Dike can only be seen as a positive at The Hawthorns.
As a result, Mason will be keen to push through with talks and make a deal happen for the attacker, even if it has to be a loan deal in this window.
