Romelu Lukaku would ‘sign for West Brom tomorrow’ if he saw what’s been announced
Romelu Lukaku was certainly a fan favourite throughout his loan spell at West Brom.
The Belgium international has gone on to win five major honours since departing The Hawthorns, realising the potential the Baggies knew he had.
This came after a 38-game stint in the Black Country as the young striker moved to the Midlands on a temporary deal from Chelsea in 2012.
Despite leaving over 12 years ago, the 32-year-old may now have an eye on his return after the latest announcement from the Baggies.

Lukaku would love new West Brom change
There is no doubt that having the forward back in B71 would prove to be amazing, but it would certainly require Albion to be thriving in the Premier League.
That certainly isn’t the case right now, but things could soon change under Ryan Mason, but that is yet to be seen.
As a result, the ex-Tottenham coach will have to rely on the likes of Josh Maja and Daryl Dike to get the goals as number nines for his side.
With that being said, it has been suggested that Lukaku would sign for the Baggies within days after the new kit was unveiled.

Despite not going down well with certain sections of supporters, it is clear that the prospect of long-sleeved shirts would be loved by the Belgian.
This comes after former Albion kitman Pat Frost took to X (28 June) to share the striker’s love of that style of shirt, which was never available in his time at West Brom.
He said: “If Romelu Lukaku sees we have long-sleeved shirts, he’d sign tomorrow. He was desperate for one when he was with us and pretty much always wore a long-sleeved undershirt on game days. Someone send him the link and watch him book his flight.”
Lukaku to love West Brom kit
It is fair to say that the new Baggies strip has received mixed reviews from fans due to the asymmetric stripes that adorn the front.
That, paired with the Ideal Boilers sponsor, has led to a number of complaints, which obviously won’t be rectified by Macron.
With that being said, the long-sleeve edition of the top has gone down well with many fans, opting to purchase that edition of the shirt.
That is seemingly likely to please Lukaku, who is clearly famed for his love of long-sleeved shirts, which are coming more into fashion.
It will be interesting to see which Albion players wear them this season, with Nigel Quashie also a huge fan of the strip.
