West Brom former star Nigel Quashie admires new home kit
Former West Brom midfielder Nigel Quashie is a huge fan of West Brom’s 2025/26 home attire.
The contemporary blue and white striped shirt draws inspiration from the jersey worn when the Baggies first walked out at The Hawthorns in 1900.
The shirt also has intricate features such as an image of the Albion’s home stadium on the inside neckline.
Anniversary logos are also on the back and front of the shirt, which is a huge hit with fans and former players.
In a tweet former Baggies player Quashie said: “Wish I could wear that kit”, followed by the heart eyes emoji and a blue heart and a white heart.
Quashie joined West Brom in January 2006 for £1.2 million and left a year later after the Baggies were relegated from the Premier League.
The former Scotland international struggled with injuries after leaving the West Midlands and went on to play for the likes of West Ham and Birmingham
The 46-year-old finished his playing career in Iceland, representing Vestri as a player-manager before leaving in 2015.
West Brom’s new home kit is priced at £59.99, with the club coming under fire for the prices of their merchandise.
West Brom’s new kit marks start to potentially iconic new era
West Brom’s new kit has the potential to become one that fans will look back on with pride in ten years time.
The new Ryan Mason era has so far given fans renewed optimism.
Signing an experienced defender in Phillips, as well as keeping hold of Torbjorn Heggem and Tom Fellows so far, has put the Baggies in good stead going into next season.
If The Albion manage to keep their best assets next season and continue to build on their squad, Mason’s side will be destined to finish in the play-offs.
