West Brom ‘may have Fellows exit masterplan’ amid Everton rumours

West Brom have Ryan Mason through the door as manager, but that might not stop top players from leaving The Hawthorns.

Mason has already stamped his mark on the West Midlands club by making Nat Phillips his first West Brom signing.

While that is positive news for Baggies supporters, there is a risk they could lose some of their prized assets this summer.

West Brom can replace Fellows for nothing with Championship star

Everton were heavily linked with Fellows in January, but a deal for the right-midfielder never materialised.

The 22-year-old went on to have a stellar season at The Hawthorns, with 18 goal contributions in the Championship.

Fellows was part of the England Under-21 side’s triumph at the 2025 UEFA European Under-21 Championship, although he only played 27 minutes.

Given his age and potential, it is no wonder that David Moyes is keen to bring him to the Hill Dickinson Stadium.

Furthermore, it has been reported that Everton would only have to pay West Brom £10million to land Fellows.

However, Mason has an ideal replacement for the midfielder in Tyrhys Dolan, whose contract expired at the end of June.

If Albion can bring in a more-than-adequate replacement for Fellows, while at the same time raising £10m, that really would be a masterstroke.

Dolan has played as right-winger at Ewood Park and is yet to agree to a deal offered by the Lancashire side.

The 23-year-old made 13 goal contributions in the Championship last season in what was a turbulent season for Blackburn.

What are the Baggies’ chances of signing Dolan?

With Dolan considering his future at Ewood Park, he is sure to have a host of suitors for his services.

Scottish giants Celtic and Rangers have both been linked with the winger, should he decide to leave England.

In the Championship, Norwich City seem to be the player’s strongest suitors amid Liam Manning’s arrival as manager.

However, that could all change if Fellows does depart The Hawthorns this summer.

With the England under-21 international set to return to pre-season, a decision will need to be made on his future.

If he leaves, then Dolan must surely be on West Brom’s list of potential candidates, and Mason must persuade him to move to the West Midlands.
