Mikey Johnston exit ‘almost finalised’, West Brom ace to jet out for exit soon
Mikey Johnston looks set to jet out of the UK ahead of a West Brom exit.
The Republic of Ireland could be set for an early departure from The Hawthorns after only signing permanently 12 months ago.
It is fair to say that the 26-year-old failed to truly live up to the expectation off the back of a permanent deal from Celtic.
As a result, a sale this summer makes sense and could be set to go through in the coming days, as a flight out of England is expected.

Johnston set for flight ahead of West Brom exit
There is a need for a rebuild in the Black Country this summer after what was a disappointing end to the campaign under Tony Mowbray and Co.
This has already begun with the signing of Nat Phillips and looks set to continue with a big-money deal for Norwegian forward Aune Heggebo.
With that being said, this sort of business needs funding, and a sizable sale could be the perfect way to do exactly that.
This is where Johnston could step in with a move to Flamengo after the Brazilian giants tabled a shock bid in the region of £5million for the Irishman.
It has now been reported by local journalist Vene Casagrande that a deal is never finalised with the Mengão for the winger.
This looks set to see the 26-year-old sign a four-year deal in Rio de Janeiro and is awaiting small details to be resolved before travelling from the UK to South America.
Johnston set to sign contract at Flamengo
To bring in £5m for a player who doesn’t necessarily get into the Baggies’ strongest 11 is an excellent piece of business. No doubt.

It is totally bizarre to see the ex-Celtic man linked with a move to a Brazilian side, never mind one of the biggest in the shape of Flamengo.
Now it will be interesting to see how Ryan Mason utilises this fee to boost his squad and what sort of difference that can make moving forward.
