Nigel Quashie ‘wishes he could play for West Brom again’ after new announcement
West Brom have now released their new away kit for the upcoming season.
The Baggies are preparing for another campaign in the Championship as they aim for promotion to the Premier League, after a disappointing end to last season.
Ryan Mason has taken charge and is pushing for more new signings after a promising start to the transfer window.
West Brom have released their home and away kits now, with the latter announced on Wednesday, with Nigel Quashie loving what he is seeing.

Quashie praises new West Brom kit
West Brom have revealed their new away kit, and it is set to be a fan favourite away from The Hawthorns for next season.
It is a sleek green and yellow stripe design, with green shorts and green-dominant socks, and West Brom fans have reacted positively to it.
Former West Brom midfielder Quashie, who spent one and a half seasons with the Baggies, has now praised the new kit, with the design a throwback to one he played in.
Stat | Quashie |
Appearances | 30 |
Goals | 1 |
Assists | 4 |
The 2006-07 away kit worn in the Championship features a very similar colour scheme, and Quashie has praised this throwback in a post on X.
“Wish I could play in that kit again,” Quashie posted.
West Brom need to improve away record next season
West Brom now need to ensure that their on-field ambitions match the quality of their kit, particularly away from home.
The Baggies managed just four away victories in the Championship last season, with Carlos Corberan in charge for all of them, at QPR, Stoke, Portsmouth and Hull.
Tony Mowbray failed to record a single away victory after returning midway through the season, as West Brom’s play-off push fell apart.
Mason has to improve this aspect of West Brom’s performances next season if his side are to challenge for promotion, and fans will hope to see more wins on the road in their popular new kit.
More signings will be necessary to bolster the squad, but the recent signing of Aune Heggebo comes as a big boost to the final third.
Here’s to more success in yellow and green.
