West Brom carry out more work on The Hawthorns as images emerge – ‘Stunning’
West Brom have carried out more work on The Hawthorns ahead of the new Championship season.
Optimism is high in B71 following the appointment of Ryan Mason, and there are genuine hopes that the Baggies may be in a position to potentially mount a genuine challenge for promotion.
West Brom are currently away on a pre-season tour in Austria, where they drew the opening game of their summer preparations 1-1 with Dynamo Kyiv on Friday (11 July).
The Baggies begin their league campaign with a home game against Blackburn Rovers on 9 August, and a strong start could provide them with crucial momentum to take into the remainder of the season.

West Brom have painted the East Stand and the Halfords Lane stand
Pre-season can often be an exciting time for supporters, and Bilkul have provided plenty of reason for the Baggies faithful to look forward to the upcoming campaign.
West Brom have made early moves in the transfer market to complete the signings of Nat Phillips and Aune Heggebo, and there are expected to be plenty more additions to come as Mason begins to work on his squad.
However, the excitement isn’t just stemming from the deals that are being done.
In addition to signings, Bilkul have invested in touching up The Hawthorns as West Brom prepare for their 125th anniversary campaign.
It has now been revealed by one fan via X (11 July) that The Hawthorns is getting a new lick of paint, with the East Stand and the Halfords Lane stand said to be looking “stunning” ahead of the return to competitive action in August.
Bilkul have made a bright start at West Brom
Friday’s reveal isn’t the only upgrade to have been made to The Hawthorns this summer.
Bilkul previously sanctioned a six-figure refurbishment at the Birmingham Road End of the ground, and their latest investment is yet another positive sign in the relatively early stages of their tenure.
The American investment group completed their takeover of the West Midlands outfit at the end of February, and so far they have proven themselves to be considered and well-informed owners.
Shilen Patel and Co. appear to have a genuine care for the club, which has been made perfectly clear by the upgrades to The Hawthorns over the last few weeks.
Ultimately, a club’s hierarchy cannot get every decision right. However, so far, Bilkul have made plenty of calls that will have been well-received by the fans.
