Mikey Moore ‘set to clear medical’ as West Brom transfer news emerges
Ryan Mason wants a reunion with Tottenham youngster Mikey Moore at West Brom ahead of the 2025/26 season.
Dr Rajpal Brar, an injury expert, has analysed the 17-year-old’s absence for numerous weeks last season.
The Baggies came close but missed out on the play-offs last campaign and would want to right all wrongs under Mason.
Having parted ways with Tony Mowbray, the owners will have higher expectations from the former Spurs interim manager.

Moore expected to clear medical despite missing several games last season
Moore’s virus last season is not expected to cause any issues with his pre-transfer medical, according to Dr Brar.
West Brom are considering bringing Moore to the club this summer to bolster Mason’s attack.
Club | Appearances | Goals | Assists |
---|---|---|---|
Spurs U18 | 24 | 19 | 13 |
Tottenham | 21 | 1 | 2 |
Tottenham U21 | 5 | 2 | 2 |
Tottenham YL | 5 | – | – |
Speaking exclusively with West Brom News, Dr Brar, a specialist in Physical Therapy and a Sports Scientist, said: “He missed several games last season with a virus.
“However, that is not something that would cause any issues with his medical.
“Also, it should not be something that would see clubs avoid making a move for him as it’s not likely to cause long-term ramifications.”

West Brom must seriously explore the signing of Moore
Mason can maximise Moore’s potential by leveraging the teenager’s versatility and attacking flair in the Championship.
He has already showcased his talent with the Under-21s at Tottenham as well as the senior team.
Mason should deploy Moore as a left-winger in a 4-3-3, allowing him to cut inside with his right foot to score or create, wreaking havoc in the final third.
Encouraging one-on-one duels and quick interplay with wing-backs suits West Brom’s high-pressing style.
Regular starts, clear tactical instructions and mentorship from Mason will build Moore’s confidence, ensuring he develops into a key attacking weapon for the Baggies’ promotion push.
