West Brom ‘have days left to sign Jeon Jin-woo’ with history now on cards
West Brom’s transfer business is beginning to ramp up ahead of the new Championship season.
George Campbell looks set to be next through the door for the Baggies, joining Nat Phillips and Aune Heggebo as new arrivals under Ryan Mason.
Albion’s business does not look to be finished there, however, with forward Jeon Jin-woo, being another fresh face whose arrival at The Hawthorns could be imminent.
A deal for the 25-year-old, who currently plays for Jeonbuk Hyundai Motors, may need to be finalised within days after new developments, though.

West Brom submit official bid for the K League top scorer
Despite Heggebo’s signature costing around £4.75million for Albion, it would appear they have more money to spend.
According to reports from Football Asian (15 July), West Brom have submitted an official bid of around £1million for Jin-woo.
The winger, who is currently the K League’s top goalscorer, with 12 goals in 20 appearances, is eager to test himself in Europe, and West Brom could provide him with the opportunity to do so.
A deal will likely not be straightforward, however, with Jeonbuk currently ten points clear at the top of the table, and in pole position to be the first to secure a historic 10th K League 1 title.
Jeonbuk are actively attempting to convince their right winger to stay with the club on the verge of history, and with their transfer deadline on 24 July, only days remain to get a deal over the line.
This first bid is likely to be rejected, and it will only get harder to sign Jin-woo as the Korean transfer deadline gets closer.

Bringing Jin-woo to B13 would be a risk
Whilst bringing Jin-woo in could turn out to be a remarkable piece of business for Mason’s side, it is also incredibly risky.
Particularly when considering that West Brom have let a Championship-proven winger in Grady Diangana, walk out the door for free.
Diangana’s form was criticised last season, but the winger still managed to notch seven goal contributions in just 14 starts, and there is no guarantee that Jin-woo would be able to match those numbers in England.
If Jin-woo is brought in for a hefty fee, Albion supporters could be left to wonder why Shilen Patel and Co. didn’t simply offer Diangana a new deal.
With more movement expected soon, the Baggies may need to go quickly.
