West Brom supporters left enraged by ‘ridiculous’ club announcement

West Brom are continuing their preparations for next season, but fans are already frustrated at one new development.

Ryan Mason has joined as manager, and more signings could follow the three new arrivals at The Hawthorns so far.

There is reason for West Brom fans to be optimistic about the upcoming campaign on the pitch, but it is an off-pitch development which has now angered supporters.

Season tickets have been on sale for the last few months, but another surprising announcement has been made about matchday tickets for the 2025/26 season.

West Brom individual ticket prices raised

Fans attending matches at The Hawthorns who do not own a season ticket will now find their matchdays become more expensive.

West Brom have officially announced that individual match tickets for adults will start at £32, a rise from £30 last year.

Adult disabled supporters have also seen an increase, from £20 to £22, and even Under-7s prices are now £7 instead of £5.

The “kids for a quid” scheme, which was popular in previous seasons, has now been removed, and fans have taken to X to express their frustration at these price increases.

West Brom season tickets are the best value buy

With individual match ticket prices now increasing, those who wish to attend home fixtures regularly will find that season tickets are much better value.

An adult attending 23 home matches at the cheapest price of £32 per ticket will end up spending a minimum of £736 throughout a season.

The cheapest season ticket starts at £439, but while this is still an increase from last season’s price of £399, it is still much better value, as a season of matches averages out at £19.09.

West Brom were disappointing last season as they meekly dropped out of the playoff race under Tony Mowbray, but fans will now hope that increased prices lead to an increase in the quality of performances and results.

There was chaos over West Brom’s managerial situation last year, and the appointment of Mason will now hopefully bring some stability to the Baggies.
