Done deal: West Brom announce new signing from Cardiff, move ‘subject to international clearance’
West Brom have completed another signing this summer.
Ryan Mason has added the likes of Nat Phillips and Aune Heggebo to his ranks as Albion look to challenge for promotion to the Premier League.
Meanwhile, Siobhan Hodgetts-Still’s West Brom Women’s side have also been active so far, bringing in the likes of Zoe Creaney and Charlotte Clarke.
The FA Women’s National League North outfit finished 7th last season and will be looking to improve on that next season.

West Brom announce Kehoe deal
While Mason and Co. are preparing for the Championship campaign, the Women’s team are trying to secure a promotion of their own.
The Baggies announced the signing of Cardiff City attacking midfielder Molly Kehoe (23 July) to further strengthen Hodgetts-Still’s side.
The move is subject to international clearance, according to the announcement released by The Hawthorns outfit.
Kehoe can change West Brom Women’s fortunes
Kehoe has starred in the Champions League for the Bluebirds and was a crucial part of their treble success in the 2024/25 season.
She is versatile and can play across the front line, and is always looking to get forward and make things happen.
Women’s National League North | Played | GD | Points |
6. Liverpool Feds | 22 | -18 | 32 |
7. West Brom | 22 | -21 | 22 |
8. Hull City | 22 | -28 | 22 |
9. Derby County | 22 | -18 | 21 |
The 20-year-old is technically gifted and comfortable on the ball and should be a real asset for the Black Country club in the new campaign as they look to change their fortunes.
The West Midlands outfit have shown ruthless ambition this summer, releasing long-serving star Mariam Mahmood and Izzie Whittick and letting Maddie Oliver return to Manchester City.
Bilkul Football chief Shilen Patel has taken an increased interest in the Women’s team recently, reacting to the permanent appointment of Hodgetts-Still, and hopefully he will make them more competitive next season.
They will be up against arch-rivals Wolves, and any opportunity to get one over on the Old Gold must be taken.
The Baggies need to be in the promotion race with their local rivals, after a dismal campaign last time out where they finished 36 points off the top.
Kehoe could be the difference-maker for Albion after four consecutive mid-table finishes in the third tier of the Women’s game.
