Mason told he’ll be ‘gone by Christmas’ after West Brom interview
Ryan Mason has found himself in hot water with some West Brom supporters.
The former Tottenham coach was appointed as Tony Mowbray’s permanent successor in June by Bilkul Football.
Despite questions over his experience in management, Shilen Patel and Co. chose the 44-year-old as the man to lead the Baggies forward.
He has been backed in the transfer market with the signings of Nat Phillips, Aune Heggebo and George Campbell, but it remains to be seen how he will perform in the dugout.

Mason caught in spectacular West Brom own goal
Mason has led The Hawthorns to a mixed bag of results in pre-season as a 1-1 draw with Dynamo Kiev (11 July) was followed by two losses.
His side were defeated by Blackpool (19 July) and Lincoln (26 July), which have not exactly inspired confidence ahead of the new campaign.
His latest interview will not help him, as his live appearance on talkSPORT (30 July, 9:21am) was mostly spent talking about Tottenham rather than his new club.
West Brom fans not happy amid Mason interview scenes
It is safe to say that a portion of Albion supporters are not happy with Mason after the interview live on air.
The fact that he spoke mostly about his former club and not about the opportunity he has been handed in the West Midlands rubbed many the wrong way.

The last thing that he needs is to turn the fans away, so he will need to make up for the gaffe that he made as quickly as possible.
The likelihood is that he will not actually be gone by Christmas, as one suggested, but if he alienates the supporters in the Black Country, then it is definitely a possibility.
Hopefully Mason and the fans are aligned in their goals, to secure promotion back to the Premier League, which is where the Baggies belong after a five-year absence.
Some supporters have backed Mason over the interview, though.
Ultimately, it is not his fault that the presenters led the questions in the direction that they did, and he should be given time in the dugout to build the squad the way he wants, rather than immediately being slammed.
