West Brom can still sign Tottenham forward as Moore set for medical
West Brom have lost out on key target Mikey Moore, with the Tottenham sensation set to join Rangers.
Moore was linked with a loan move to West Brom as soon as Ryan Mason became manager, with the former Spurs coach well aware of the teenager’s talent.
West Brom need reinforcement in attacking areas, and Moore would have been an excellent addition, but the Baggies will have to look elsewhere.
With time running out before the Championship restarts, several forwards are needed for depth and extra quality, but Mason may still be able to shop at his old club.

Moore snubs West Brom for Rangers
Moore has now snubbed a move to The Hawthorns to join Rangers instead, with Russell Martin seemingly playing a key role in his decision.
GiveMeSport have now reported (29 July) that Moore is set for his Rangers medical with a deal now agreed, thus ruling out a move to West Brom despite their interest this summer.

The 17-year-old is regarded as Tottenham’s best young talent, but he is not the only promising youngster at Spurs, and Mason will be well aware of this.
Dane Scarlett spent the first half of last season on loan at Oxford United and could now be in line for a return to the Championship.

West Brom could target Scarlett
West Brom’s only attacking signing so far has been Aune Heggebo, and other forwards across the front line will be needed to bolster the squad.
Scarlett could be an option to supplement the options at centre-forward, and the 21-year-old already has Championship experience under his belt.
The attacker scored four times in 22 games for Oxford last season, but is clearly a talent who is further developing his game, and more minutes would help him become a more prolific centre-forward.
Scarlett could potentially be signed on a low-cost loan deal, and could support Heggebo in attack while replacing Devante Cole, who could leave this summer.
Mason will be frustrated at the lack of attacking signings so far, but reuniting with Scarlett could be a good way to strengthen the depth in the squad.
