West Brom may need to take extra step to seal Chris Ramos transfer
West Brom are reportedly keen on securing the services of Cadiz striker Chris Ramos.
Ryan Mason wants more firepower in the final third to give his side the best chance of securing promotion to the Premier League.
Last season, Ramos scored 10 goals in 37 La Liga 2 appearances.

Ramos’ absence last season may be examined ahead of a transfer
The Hawthorns outfit may examine the reason why Ramos missed the final five games of last season, according to Dr Brar.
West Brom have tabled a bid for Ramos as they’re keen on bringing him to the club in this window. (Matteo Moretto, 31 July)

2023/24 | 5 |
2022/23 | 8 |

Dr Brar told West Brom News: “He (Ramos) missed a few games at the end of last season, so if it is an injury issue, the club may want to look at it.
“Apart from that, there aren’t any real issues that stand out with regard to him failing a medical.
“He may need to be eased in if he’s still carrying any knock-on effects; otherwise, he should be ready to play as soon as he arrives.”

West Brom will be given a promotion boost if Ramos joins
Signing Ramos would significantly boost West Brom’s chances of securing promotion to the Premier League under Mason.
The 28-year-old’s performances last season demonstrate his goal-scoring prowess in a competitive second tier, ideal for the Championship’s demands.
At 6’3”, the Spaniard offers a physical, target-man presence, much-needed in the English second division.
His experience against top Spanish sides like Sevilla equips him for high-pressure playoff scenarios.
With West Brom’s £2.1million bid, Ramos’ addition strengthens their attack cost-effectively, providing the firepower needed to challenge for a top-two finish.
