Lankshear returns – Three Spurs gems West Brom could sign after transfer update
West Brom are expected to be among several suitors for a host of Tottenham youngsters available on loan this summer.
The Baggies should enjoy an edge in the race given head coach Ryan Mason’s history at the North London club, with the Englishman previously coaching many of Spurs’ brightest talents.
Loan signings could be exactly what is needed for West Brom, with decision-makers at The Hawthorns struggling against the Profit and Sustainability Rules.
Here, West Brom News suggests three Spurs gems that the Baggies could target in the coming weeks.

Will Lankshear
As reported by Football London on Monday (4 August), Luka Vuskovic, Jamie Donley, Lankshear, George Abbott, Yang Min-hyeok, and Tyrese Hall have all been made available for loan alongside Dane Scarlett and Alfie Devine.
Lankshear spent the second half of last season on loan at West Brom. However, the striker struggled for consistent minutes and was often deployed in a deeper role when he did play.
With Mason at the helm at The Hawthorns, the 20-year-old could return to play under a head coach who holds both trust in his ability and knowledge of his strengths.
Lankshear was prolific at Under-21 level for Tottenham and has already scored his first goal for the senior team.
Yang Min-hyeok
West Brom are very much in need of attacking depth in wide areas, with Jed Wallace’s future beyond this summer still unclear.
Yang could provide a superb option to replace the 31-year-old on the right, after the 19-year-old scored 12 goals and provided six assists in South Korea’s first division in the 2023/24 season.
Yang spent the second half of last season at Championship side QPR and impressed at times, despite being afforded limited minutes.
And with experience of the league now under his belt, the winger could be ready to make a serious impact for West Brom.
Luka Vuskovic
It would not be an overstatement to say the signing of Vuskovic could well be transformative of West Brom’s entire window.
The teenager is among Tottenham’s brightest stars, with the decision to make him available for loan under criticism from fans of the North London club.
Vuskovic is a modern defender, imperious at the back but fantastic in possession, and more than capable of sticking the ball in the net.

The 18-year-old has already been capped by Croatia and is expected to play a major role in the future of Tottenham’s defence.
Clubs in the Bundesliga are reportedly interested in a loan for Vuskovic, but Spurs could yet opt to test the teenager’s talent under the leadership of Mason and the physicality of the Championship.
