West Brom loan star ‘absolutely outstanding’, wins man of the match in debut
West Brom have enjoyed a relatively successful transfer window.
The Baggies got their Championship campaign off to the perfect start with a 1-0 victory over Blackburn Rovers at the Hawthorns.
Ryan Mason has strengthened in key areas this summer with the signings of Nat Phillips and George Campbell in defence, while making a big-money move for Norwegian striker Aune Heggebo up top.
The Midlands side has also let several players leave the club this summer, and one player who has gone out on loan has shone on his debut.

Ben Cisse shines on Rushall Olympic debut
West Brom have allowed young goalkeeper Ben Cisse to leave the club on loan this summer.
Cisse joined Northern Premier League side Rushall Olympic for the season earlier this week and made his debut in a 1-1 draw with Warrington Rylands.
The 19-year-old made his mark from the off in a Rushall shirt, making a string of important saves to preserve a point for the newly-relegated side after they went 1-0 up in the first half before being reduced to 10 men.
The former Alvechurch man notably made a wonderful save with 10 minutes to go, as he palmed an effort onto the woodwork before it crossed the line.
Fans described Cisse as “absolutely outstanding” during the draw, and he deservedly won the man of the match award.
Cisse can provide great depth for young West Brom goalkeeper department
West Brom’s shot-stopper department is extremely young, with only Joe Wildsmith being over the age of 24.
This can be used as a position of strength regarding Cisse’s development, as the 19-year-old is unlikely to be ready for the Baggies’ first team for several years yet.
A year of development at Rushall will likely be followed by another loan at a side within the EFL if he is successful in the seventh tier, which will then test to see if he’s ready to remain at the Hawthorns long-term.
