Ex-West Brom star signs off on Ryan Mason’s next new signing as advanced talks held
West Brom remain in the hunt to make new first-team signings before the summer transfer window closes.
Ryan Mason will be targeting promotion this season and will need some more faces through the door to help him achieve that goal.
Since the end of last season, West Brom have signed George Campbell, Nat Phillips and Aune Heggebo. However, they are expected to finalise more deals in the next couple of weeks before the transfer window shuts on 1 September.

Jonny Evans signs off on the Toby Collyer deal
Jonny Evans enjoyed a few successful years at the Hawthorns, having joined from Manchester United in 2015.
He spent over a decade at Old Trafford and was loaned out to Royal Antwerp and Sunderland twice before he left for good.
Now, the former Northern Ireland international, 37, serves as the Head of Loans and Pathways at Manchester United.
With Toby Collyer closing in on a loan move to West Brom, Evans has played an active role in the deal.

According to Manchester World on 14 August, Evans has sanctioned the midfielder’s loan move to one of his former clubs.
The 21-year-old has already made multiple senior appearances for United and will be moving to the Championship club for regular first-team minutes.

West Brom will be thrilled with Collyer’s imminent arrival
Collyer’s season-long loan from Manchester United is a coup for West Brom and Mason will be thrilled with the 21-year-old’s arrival.
The midfielder has made 13 appearances for United, including a standout Europa League performance against Rangers and brings dynamism and ball-playing ability to the Baggies’ midfield.
His work rate and versatility as a defensive midfielder fit perfectly into Mason’s 4-2-3-1 system, where he’s expected to secure a starting spot.
With West Brom pushing for promotion, Collyer’s Premier League experience and hunger for regular minutes enhance their squad depth and energy.
Mason will value Collyer’s potential to drive their Championship campaign.
