West Brom fans will love new Shilen Patel footage from Wrexham after win
Shilen Patel is continuing to prove why he is so popular among the West Brom faithful.
Ryan Mason’s fine start to life in the Championship continued on Saturday, 16 August as West Brom beat Wrexham 3-2 at the Racecourse Ground.
Two goals from Isaac Price and a Jed Wallace strike were enough to seal the win for the visitors, who now have six points from six after their first two Championship games of the season.
West Brom clearly enjoyed this win, as evidenced by their social media dig aimed at Wrexham.
And supporters will also be delighted after footage of Patel emerged on social media after the win in Wales.

Patel starts the boing in the West Brom away end
Just like Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney, Patel was in attendance for West Brom’s win over Wrexham.
The Red Dragons would have been hoping to mark their first home game back in the Championship with three points, but their visitors had other ideas.
Price opened the scoring in the 20th minute, and after Lewis O’Brien equalised for the hosts just before the break, Wallace restored the Baggies’ lead in the 74th minute, before Price added his second seven minutes later.
Sam Smith did grab a late goal in stoppage time, but it was too little too late, and West Brom were able to hold on to all three points to move to the top of the Championship.
Supporters were clearly delighted at full-time, and in footage shared to X by AllAlbionFans on 16 August, the away end can be heard asking Patel to ‘start the Boing’, with the 44-year-old obliging, before joining in with the travelling support.
It’s another example of how the West Brom Chairman is ingrained with the culture of the West Midlands club, and will leave fans feeling delighted.
Patel sends a message to supporters after win against Wrexham
After dancing with the away fans at the Racecourse Ground, Patel took to X to send a message to supporters.
He wrote: “Well done by the lads! Travelling support was immense as well, bringing all the atmosphere! We keep writing our story”.
All of these developments will thrill fans, and Patel has the chance to send his popularity to an all-time high by making further moves in the remaining weeks of the transfer window to really boost the Baggies’ promotion hopes this season.
