Isaac Price’s superb West Brom form rightly rewarded as announcement made
Isaac Price has been the best player so far under Ryan Mason at West Brom.
With the Baggies winning their two opening Championship fixtures, it’s easy to see why Mason’s side have been tipped to finish in the top six come the end of the season.
Price has been at the heart of all the success West Brom have had at this early stage in the season, being in fine goalscoring form.
Now, the 21-year-old’s form has been rightly rewarded, as a new announcement has been made regarding the Albion ace away from The Hawthorns.

Isaac Price rewarded with international call-up
Price’s form has already gained him plaudits and accolades to begin the new campaign, and if he can keep this up, the rewards will be that he fires West Brom to the Premier League.
- Price has already scored three goals whilst registering one assist this season
- The youngster is thriving in the number ten role under Mason after being deployed deeper in midfield and out wide at points last season
The Northern Irishman has now been called up for their 2026 World Cup qualifying squad, with the announcement coming via X on 21 August.

Price looks set to add to his 22 international caps, as Northern Ireland prepare to take on Luxembourg and Germany in September.
Who else has been named in the Northern Ireland squad?
Terry Devlin is one of the names to be included in the 26-man squad, with the youngster currently on the books at Portsmouth.
With West Brom facing Portsmouth this weekend, Price will be hoping that his international teammate saves any potential good performances for his country rather than his club.
- Price has represented Northern Ireland 22 times
- The West Brom star has nine goals across those appearances
- That’s a return of 0.4 goals per game at senior international level
Other notable names that Baggies supporters may recognise are the Sunderland duo of Dan Ballard and Trai Hume, with the pair being crucial parts of Sunderland’s promotion-winning campaign to the top-flight last season.
Liverpool’s Conor Bradley is also in the squad, and playing with players of Bradley’s quality will only help Price’s development.
