West Brom will have to keep that sigh of relief for a little longer, with an exit still possible for Josh Maja.

The Baggies have had an eventful end to a summer filled with ups and downs.

West Brom confirmed that Samuel Iling-Junior will join on loan from Aston Villa in the final hours of their window.

Meanwhile, Ryan Mason picked up more points on the road as West Brom triumphed 1-0 over Stoke City, extending their unbeaten run.

But it is all far from over for Albion as the transfer window still remains open in other countries.

Josh Maja subject to late interest from Spain, Turkey and Saudia Arabia

As reported by westbrom.fc via X on Monday, 1 September, Maja is subject to late interest from Spain, Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

Maja has recently re-entered the fold for West Brom after sustaining a nasty ankle injury. As such, the Baggies will not want to lose him so soon.

While Albion's window has long closed, the market is still open for various leagues around the world. Spain's transfer window shuts at 12am local time. Meanwhile, Turkey's closes on 12 September at 12am local time, and Saudi Arabia on 10 September.

As a result, Maja will definitely be one to watch over the next couple of hours or even days.

Who has already left West Brom this summer?

The Baggies have spent more than they've received this summer transfer window.

Tom Fellows departed West Brom to sign for Southampton for £8million, while Torbjorn Heggem signed for Bologna for an estimated £10m fee.

Fellows' departure has hit a nerve among West Brom fans, who wanted to see their club sign a replacement before the window ended.

Meanwhile, Albion have seen several free transfers leave in the past couple of months. This includes John Swift, who returned to The Hawthorns this season after reuniting with his former side, Portsmouth. Gianluca Frabotta also left for free, signing for Serie B side Cesena.

Sone other free transfers include:

  • Grady Diangana who signed for La Liga side Elche CF
  • Semi Ajayi who transferred to fellow Championship club Hull City
  • Ted Cann who joined League One aide Rotherham

With there still questions over Maja's future, there is no doubt that he could add to this list before all the global markets shut.
