West Brom on stand-by as West Ham ace awaits Graham Potter advice on loan move
Graham Potter could help West Brom secure a last-minute loan move this summer window.
West Brom are flying in the last few hours of the summer market. Samuel Iling-Junior has completed his loan move to West Brom from Aston Villa.
Meanwhile, Charlie Taylor has signed on loan for West Brom in the final moments, while Devante Cole has left to join Port Vale on a free transfer.
This will all be music to Ryan Mason’s ears, whose win against Stoke City means that West Brom remain unbeaten in the Championship. And the Albion manager could be pleased even further if Potter gives the green light.

George Earthy could arrive to West Brom on loan
West Brom fans a Tom Fellow replacement to arrive before the summer window closes for good.
However, it does not seem that Albion are keen to move in that direction. The closest fans could get is a centre-forward in Sasa Kalajdzic, whom West Brom are still looking to sign.
Despite this, it seems that a midfielder, George Earthy, could walk through the doors of The Hawthorns within hours.
In an interview with The West Ham Way on Monday, 1 September, West Ham insider, ExWHUEmployee said: “George Earthy is currently weighing up options from Bristol City – where he was on loan last season, West Brom, Norwich, Middlesbrough and Wrexham.
“As a big West Ham fan George really wants to play for the club and is currently awaiting Potter’s advice on what his next move should be.”
While the young midfielder is still studying his options, there is a chance that West Brom recieves a call from the Premier League club if Potter gives the green light.

Does West Brom need help in the attack?
As an attacking midfielder, it would be Earthy’s job to help build up and facilitate attacks.
The Baggies have had a grand start to the Championship, scoring six goals in four games so far. Meanwhile, Albion have missed four big chances over that period and recorded an expected goals of 4.80 per 90.
| Goals | 1.50 per 90 |
| Expected goals (xG) | 4.80 per 90 |
| Shots on target | 4.00 per 90 |
| Big chances missed | 4 |
This means that there is an overperformance in the goals West Brom have been expected to score and how many goals have found the back of they have scored.
As a result, having an attacking-minded midfielder behind the striker could help West Brom to create stronger and more effective attacks. As such, if Earthy does land at The Hawthorns, even for a season-long loan, he could help Albion’s promotion charge.
