West Brom to go all out for Dele Alli amid huge transfer development
West Brom could be about to step up their pursuit of Dele Alli in the near future.
The former Tottenham star has once again found himself without a club after he was released by Italian side Como recently, and a return to England could be on the cards.
Alli has been strongly linked with West Brom over the last few weeks, with English sides still able to use the free agent market to add to their ranks, even though the transfer window has now closed.
The 29-year-old could reunite with his former Spurs teammate Ryan Mason in B71, and that has surely been a huge driving force behind the speculation so far.

La Liga teams showing Dele Alli interest
West Brom’s chances of signing Alli received a boost on Saturday when Swansea City manager Alan Sheehan distanced his side from a move for the troubled star.
The Welsh outfit are one of the other Championship clubs that have been linked with him in recent weeks, but their boss has now ruled out any prospect of a deal being struck.
However, the Baggies must now show genuine urgency if they truly want to sign the former England international, as a whole host of La Liga sides are now eyeing a deal.
- Alli’s career has spiralled since he left Tottenham in 2022
- He made just one appearance for Como over the entire 2024/25 campaign
- Alli has made just 18 competitive appearances in the last three seasons
Levante, Rayo Vallecano, Elche and Real Oviedo are all keen to sign the attacking midfielder, according to Spanish outlet Fichajes.
Alli could be interested in the opportunity to try his hand in another major European league, just like he did with Serie A previously, and Vallecano even have UEFA Conference League football to offer him.
With that in mind, if Albion are serious about signing Alli, they have to go all out to get a deal done as quickly as possible, or they will likely lose out to another candidate.

West Brom risk damaging Isaac Price progress with Dele Alli signing
West Brom have a star on their hands in Isaac Price, as the 21-year-old continues to go from strength to strength in B71.
The attacking midfielder is one of the most exciting young players in the Championship, and he has been excellent for Mason’s men so far this term as he continues to make a name for himself.
The Northern Ireland international has a huge future ahead of him, and by trying to bring in and resurrect a player like Alli, Albion would risk treading on their own toes in terms of Price’s development.
He should be in a position where he is virtually undroppable for the Baggies, but that certainly wouldn’t remain the case if Alli were to come in.
With that in mind, the Black Country outfit are surely better served investing in their own promising talent, rather than trying to turn back the clock on Alli.
