West Brom fans to be delighted with one name as six most exciting Championship talents emerge
Ryan Mason has relied on the brilliance of several players at West Brom this season.
Derby County travelled to The Hawthorns on 13 September and ended the Baggies’ unbeaten run in the Championship, which the English manager will be frustrated with.
Over 90 minutes, the Albion will feel they were the better side, having dominated in the final third of the pitch, but they failed to convert their dominance into an end product, ultimately losing 1-0.
Up next, Rob Edwards will host Mason at the Riverside Stadium on 19 September, and travelling supporters will be looking forward to seeing the Black Country outfit bounce back.

Isaac Price a game-changer for West Brom
Isaac Price is one of the most exciting talents in the Championship right now, along with Divin Mubama, Jeremy Monga, Abdul Fatawu, Jay Robinson and Nestory Irankunda, Don Goodman says.
The former Baggies striker has been impressed by the Northern Ireland international’s goal contributions at The Hawthorns this season.
With the 21-year-old on their books, the Albion will certainly consider themselves lucky, as he has proven to be a game-changer in B71 under Mason.
Speaking to Football League World on 16 September, Goodman said: “Price at West Brom. 21 years old, three goals and a couple of assists in his five games so far. Throw in an international goal against Germany. Obviously, he plays for Northern Ireland, which is an international minnow, really. Yet, he has 10 international goals in just 24 caps, so that’s excellent.”

Ryan Mason has promotion-winning team at The Hawthorns
Nat Phillips and Chris Mepham’s partnership at The Hawthorns could potentially lead the Baggies back into the Premier League.
The two centre-backs were signed at the Albion last summer and have already proven their worth in B71.
Josh Griffiths has looked like a much better player this season, and some of that is arguably down to the solidity in front of him.
- The Baggies are three points behind table toppers Middlesbrough.
- As things stand, the Albion are fifth in the Championship.
- Mason has won three of his five league games in charge.
Price has also pulled the strings at West Brom since the start of the 2025/26 campaign, helping fill the void left by Tom Fellows.
The young midfielder’s prospects for Northern Ireland prove that the Baggies have an exceptional talent on their hands.
Now, The Hawthorns faithful will hope Mason can find a solution for the lack of goalscoring opportunities being taken at the Albion, but Josh Maja could undoubtedly have a say in the upcoming matches.
