West Brom will be looking to bounce back from their first defeat of the season.

West Brom slumped to a home defeat to Derby at the weekend, suffering their first loss of the Championship campaign.

The Baggies now face league leaders Middlesbrough away from home in their toughest test of the season so far.

Ryan Mason’s side will be underdogs heading to the North East, but will have faith in his team to cause a real upset.

Middlesbrough vs West Brom kick-off time

West Brom face Middlesbrough at the Riverside on Friday, 19 September at 20:00 BST.

The Baggies will be looking to hand Rob Edwards’ side their first league defeat of the season, who sit top of the Championship table.

West Brom were defeated twice by Middlesbrough last season, failing to find the back of the net in either game.

Mason may look to make changes to his starting team, following Saturday’s defeat, with some intriguing options available to him.

Samuel Iling-Junior may be thrown in from the start, while Josh Maja could be involved more following his recovery from injury.

Krystian Bielik and Karlan Grant are both expected to be ruled out through injury with the former yet to make his debut after joining in the summer.
