Injury expert delivers Krystian Bielik verdict as wait for West Brom debut continues
West Brom fans are still waiting to see Krystian Bielik in action for their club.
Albion signed Bielik from Birmingham City in August 2025 for an undisclosed fee.
However, Bielik has since been sidelined for West Brom with a muscle injury, leaving many fans surprised.
He is just one of several players who have been injured for the Baggies, including Daryl Dike, who has been sidelined for West Brom since their win over Blackburn Rovers.
But with the season still far from over, Bielik has time to make up for an unconventional start to the period.

This article contains exclusive comments from Injury Expert Dr Rajpal Brar.
Krystian Bielik may have had a grade III moderate tear
The centre-back was an unused substitute during West Brom’s defeat to Middlesbrough at the Riverside Stadium.
It was a heavy defeat with calls for Ryan Mason to axe Aune Heggebo for costing his team despite netting their only goal of the game.
This is the first time Bielik has made it onto the team sheet since West Brom’s win over Wrexham in mid-August.
With constant speculation over the type of muscle injury he had, Injury Expert Dr Brar – speaking exclusively to West Brom News – has shed some light on the situation.
“Muscle injuries certainly can last this long, with some being upwards of 3-4 months in the case of grade IV full ruptures,” Dr Brar said.
“I reckon this is at least a grade III moderate tear injury, which can be 6-8+ weeks to return from.“
Krystian Bielik’s previous injury history
Bielik has suffered several injuries since beginning his professional career.
One of the first came in 2017 when the defender was forced to undergo surgery due to a shoulder injury. In January 2020, the centre-back was stretchered off during an under-23 game after sustaining an ACL injury.
- Bielik was sidelined for 280 days and missed 37 games for club and country
- He returned in November 2020
He then suffered another ACL injury in January 2021, where he did not return until a year to the day since he sustained it.
Bielik has since been sidelined due to various injuries to his groin and knee, but nothing as serious as the seasons before.
