‘Brilliant’ Iling-Junior stuns Sky Sports pundit as footage in West Brom win vs Norwich City shown
West Brom got back to winning ways in excellent fashion with a 1-0 win over Norwich City on Wednesday night.
The Baggies were winless in their last three Championship outings prior to the midweek clash at Carrow Road, but they showed few signs of a lack of confidence as they earned a vital win in Norfolk.
Josh Maja netted the game’s only goal for West Brom, as they condemned their hosts to four consecutive home defeats to start their season for the first time in their history.
There were several strong performances across the pitch for Ryan Mason’s men, but one man in particular has been singled out for praise.

Jobi McAnuff hails Iling-Junior for role in West Brom goal
Samuel Iling-Junior netted on his full West Brom debut in the draw with Leicester City last week, and the youngster turned in another impactful display this time around.
The Aston Villa loanee has had to wait a little while to get his opportunity in B71, but he has certainly seized it with both hands now that it has come his way.
The winger followed up his excellent solo goal against the Foxes by playing a key part in Albion’s winner on Wednesday night, as he skinned Kellen Fisher before delivering a cross that was palmed away by goalkeeper Vladan Kovacevic, and eventually turned in by Maja.
It was another moment of quality from the England youth international, and it understandably caught the eye of Jobi McAnuff while he was watching the game.
“Iling-Junior is brilliant down the right-hand side,” the pundit said on Sky Sports News during their coverage of the evening’s games.

“It’s a bit of one vs one play, he gets himself to the byline and flashes the ball across.
“The ‘keeper doesn’t quite do enough, and Maja gets in the right place at the right time.”
“That will do him wonders, given some of the issues that he’s had from an injury perspective as a player who can really make a difference.”
Iling-Junior is the game-changer that Albion needed
West Brom have lacked both creativity and a cutting edge in their recent outings, as the likes of Isaac Price and Aune Heggebo have struggled to have an impact at times.
The Black Country outfit needed to freshen up in the attacking half of the pitch, and Iling-Junior has provided an excellent option for them in the last two games.
The Villa youngster makes things happen in the final third, and his direct running adds another dimension to the Baggies’ attack.
Mikey Johnston provides a similarly unpredictable threat on the left wing, and Mason now undisputably has a pair of flying wingers at his disposal.
It has taken Iling-Junior a long while to break into the starting XI, but it will take a long while for him to fall out of it again if he continues to perform like this.
