West Brom ace reaches key international milestone as growing influence under Ryan Mason continues
West Brom will look to improve their performances, starting in their game against Preston North End on Saturday.
Ryan Mason’s side needs to improve after a 3-0 defeat to Millwall in their last Championship game against Millwall.
Thankfully for the Baggies, some of their stars have been impressing on international duty, as Jayson Molumby has been hailed for Ireland.
Isaac Price played well against Germany for Northern Ireland, as Tammer Bany looks to return for West Brom.
One player in particular managed to hit an astonishing milestone while representing his nation away from West Brom.

West Brom’s Chris Mepham reaches 50 caps for Wales
Chris Mepham has already impressed since arriving in the summer for Albion.
He is a regular for the Welsh national team, and he came on for just under 30 minutes in their 3-0 defeat to England.
- Mepham has played for Wales since 2018
- He played 26 minutes against England
- England didn’t score once he was on the field
Mepham helped Sunderland gain promotion to the Premier League this season, as their fans wished him well for his switch to the Black Country Club.
Now, Mepham proves more and more important for Mason in each passing game.
West Brom and Ryan Mason depend on Mepham
Mepham knows what it takes to get out of the Championship, and with Nat Phillips alongside him, Albion’s centre-back pairing is set for the season.
After joining the Baggies late in the summer, Mepham hasn’t left the side and has started all six games since.

Mepham has joined a time where Albion are still finding their feet under Mason and his staff, but the eye test hasn’t failed, and with time, Mepham will prove crucial for the Baggies.
