West Brom woes set to continue as new Preston reveal emerges
Ryan Mason’s dream start to life at West Brom has hit a snag in recent weeks.
West Brom started the campaign brilliantly under Mason, winning three of their first four matches to emerge as one of the frontrunners in the Championship.
However, West Brom find their promotion chances under threat after winning just one of their last five matches.
They will be keen to bounce back from the 3-0 defeat to Millwall in the clash at The Hawthorns on 18 October, but that may be a tough ask.

West Brom should struggle to score against Preston
West Brom’s attacking woes are well-documented, and there seems to be little chance of them sorting that against Preston.
The Baggies have scored in just three of their last six matches, and their opposition have a brilliant defensive record lately.
Paul Heckingbottom’s side have four clean sheets this season, which is the second-most in the division, only behind Coventry, who have five.
In fact, all four of the Lilywhites’ clean sheets have come in their last seven matches, after they failed to keep one in 13 matches prior to that.
Ryan Mason needs his attackers to fire against Preston
The likes of Aune Heggebo and Josh Maja have struggled to find the back of the net so far with just one goal each, and Albion have not had much help from the supporting cast either.
Isaac Price is the only Baggies star to have scored more than once in the league, with three goals so far, while Jed Wallace and Mikey Johnson also have just one goal to their names.

Mason needs somebody to step up and find their shooting boots against the Lilywhites, if the hosts are going to have any chance of victory in the contest and get themselves back on track.
If nobody steps up, then it is a struggle to see how the Throstles can win the game, given the visitors’ impressive record.
Daryl Dike and Karlan Grant are potentially in line to return for the clash, and the former Tottenham coach will hope that they can make an instant impact for his side.
