Watch as ex-West Brom favourite is sent off within seconds of being substituted on
West Brom bounced back from their recent disappointment with a 2-1 win over Preston on Saturday.
The Baggies suffered a heavy beating in the form of their 3-0 defeat away at Millwall prior to the international break, but they corrected the wrongs of that display this weekend.
Isaac Price netted a stunner for West Brom midway through the second half, which put the result out of reach for the visitors, despite their late goal to halve the deficit.
It was a welcome victory for Ryan Mason and his men, but for one of Albion’s former stars, it hasn’t been such a positive weekend.

Allan Nyom sent off in seconds for Getafe vs Real Madrid
Allan Nyom left West Brom in the summer of 2019, ahead of their promotion to the Premier League in the following season.
The former Cameroon international made 67 appearances for the Baggies across three seasons in B71, but was quickly cast adrift by Slaven Bilic after he took charge of the club.
The right-back joined Leganes on loan for the 2018-19 campaign, before he left permanently to join Getafe the following summer.
He has been in La Liga ever since, and has spent the last six seasons with his time split between Leganes and Getafe.
Now 37, Nyom is back representing the latter club of that duo, although he has been largely limited to substitute appearances so far this term.
The defender was only introduced into the action in the 76th minute of his side’s 1-0 defeat to Real Madrid on Saturday, but was shown a red card almost immediately for a challenge on Vinicius Junior.
The Brazilian winger spun Nyom on the halfway line, before the ex-Albion man then caught him with a stray arm and was given his marching orders by referee Jose Munuera.
Slaven Bilic was right to axe Allan Nyom at West Brom
Bilic did an excellent job to get West Brom promoted in his first season in charge, and although it was a harsh decision to him to show Nyom the door, it was certainly the right one.
The defender had plenty of Premier League experience from his spell at Watford when he first arrived, but his performances in B71 were inconsistent at best throughout his time at The Hawthorns.
Nyom was often erratic and error-prone, and it is totally understandable that Bilic didn’t fancy him in a league as chaotic as the Championship.
Many Baggies fans will be surprised to see that he is still playing several years later, even if he did have a moment to forget this weekend.
