Ryan Mason has radical solution to West Brom woes after Torin Ntege footage emerges
Torin Ntege could be the unlikely saviour for Ryan Mason at West Brom.
Ntege signed a new two-year contract at West Brom earlier this year, and is one of several promising talents coming through the academy pipeline.
Mason needs to do something different because his side have been toothless in attack recently, with Aune Heggebo not impressing when leading the line, with Josh Maja and Daryl Dike not making a difference either.
The former Tottenham coach is under pressure, but a solution may have just presented itself after Ntege‘s latest exploits.

Torin Ntege shines in West Brom Under-21 draw
West Brom have seen over £100million worth of stars come through the academy, and Ntege may be the next.
The 19-year-old has notched two goals and one assist in seven Premier League 2 matches so far this campaign.
However, his most impressive contribution was his strike against Stoke City on 2 November, as the young Baggies secured a 1-1 draw.
Footage posted by Albion on their official X account shows Ntege running onto a long ball from goalkeeper Brian Okonkwo, which had been flicked on, before calmly finishing past Caleb Clothier.
Who is West Brom sensation Torin Ntege?
The young attacker will not be a familiar name to most supporters, unless they watch the academy as well.
He is originally from Mitcham in South London and joined Albion in the summer of 2025, after spending time in League One outfit Peterborough United’s academy.
He was not offered a contract by the Posh and played non-league sides Hitchin, Mousehole AFC and Sutton Common Rovers, where he caught the eye of West Brom staff.
Ntege is naturally a right or left winger, but looks like he has the pace and the finishing ability to make an impact for Mason’s side upfront, something that they are not getting from the current options.
It would be a risk to throw a youngster in at the deep end like that, but Mason needs to do something radical to save his job in the Black Country, before the pressure becomes too much.
The unorthodox solution may be the thing that keeps him in the dugout in the West Midlands.
