Morgan Rogers messages West Brom star in special new social media post – ‘One of the best’

Morgan Rogers has sent a gushing message to West Brom star Chris Mepham on Instagram.

Mepham signed for West Brom in the summer and has gone on to be a regular under Ryan Mason at The Hawthorns.

The 28-year-old has been a positive addition with Mepham and Nat Phillips catching the eye for West Brom since moving to the Black Country.

Mason has come under pressure at West Brom, but the performances of the Wales international defender have been a plus-point in a frustrating season.

Aston Villa sensation and former Baggies academy ace Rogers has reached out to Mepham in an overly positive social media message.

Morgan Rogers sends birthday message to Chris Mepham

Rogers hasn’t been shy about his West Brom roots and has regularly spoken out on them despite being a Villa Park and England regular.

The attacking midfielder has gone on to be the PFA Young Player of the Year in B6 and has truly flourished under Unai Emery.

This has come as a surprise, given he struggled to secure regular minutes with the likes of Blackpool and Bournemouth.

That isn’t to say that he had a negative experience with the latter, as his message to Mepham suggested the complete opposite.

Taking to Instagram on 5 November, Rogers wished the Welshman a happy birthday and shared a loving message.

He said: “Happy bday to one of the best guys I’ve ever met. Love you brother.”

West Brom have clear gem in Mepham

Things may be a struggle right now in B71, but there is no denying that the signing of Mepham was a smart business move.

The ex-Brentford man’s form has been good, and it is also clear that he represents an ideal teammate, as indicated by Rogers’ message.

The Villa man has now worked with numerous elite talents from Bodymoor Heath to St George’s Park and still holds the West Brom man in such high esteem.

That can only be seen as a positive for Albion, who will be in need of all the leadership figures they can muster in the coming weeks.

Mason could face the sack, but whatever happen,s it feels as if the Baggies are in good hands with Mepham, especially with himself and Phillips at the back.
