Ryan Mason sack looms as he loses West Brom fans after Charlton defeat – ‘Get out of our club’
West Brom fans are now demanding for Ryan Mason to be sacked after the Baggies lost to Charlton on Tuesday night.
Mason has been under pressure from West Brom fans for a while now, and things don’t look to be getting better for the former Tottenham man.
West Brom lost 1-0 to Charlton at The Valley, losing in heartbreaking fashion, as Josh Griffiths was unable to keep out a long-range effort from Sonny Carey in the 95th minute.
The Baggies have now slipped even further down the Championship table as West Brom’s promotion hopes are now in trouble with Mason at the helm.

West Brom fans will not give Ryan Mason another chance
As of Wednesday morning, West Brom have yet to post on their social media accounts, which is always a sign that things aren’t going very well for a football club.
Mason’s downfall so far has been his tactics, particularly in the attack, as West Brom’s recent numbers don’t make for good reading.
- West Brom have only scored three goals in their last six games
- Out of a possible 18 points available in the last six, West Brom have only picked up four
- Albion are 21st in the league for goals scored, as Sheffield Wednesday and Portsmouth could overtake them on Wednesday night
Albion fans have now taken to X, expecting Shilen Patel to make the call to end this experiment.
One Baggies fan wrote: “Get out of our club, Ryan Mason,” in full capital letters.
Another Baggies fan said on Tuesday night: “If Ryan Mason is still employed by our football club this time tomorrow, I won’t be going to another game.”
Shilen Patel may be forced to sack Mason fan reaction
Fans have vented their frustrations in recent weeks, but after seeing no change in performances and results, there is a huge number of Albion supporters who now want Mason gone.
There is overwhelming negativity at The Hawthorns at the moment, and Patel may now be forced to sack Mason due to the pressure from fans.
Of course, it could already be in Patel’s thoughts to sack Mason, as performances are giving little inspiration for a path to move forward and progress.
Time will tell, but the signs are not good for Mason, and a potential turnaround of form at this stage seems very hard to see.
