Slaven Bilic eying return after what he did with West Brom previously – ‘I am very excited’
Former West Brom boss Slaven Bilic is looking forward to his managerial return.
Bilic was a huge success as West Brom manager before being sacked in 2020, as he earned automatic promotion from the Championship.
The Croatian has gone through three clubs since West Brom replaced Bilic with Sam Allardyce, but has been without a job after leaving Al Fateh last year.
Bilic has recently been linked to West Ham as a return appeared to be on the table after Graham Potter was sacked.
The Hammers went against hiring Bilic, but the former Hawthorns head coach hasn’t given up hope of landing a new role.

Slaven Bilic eyeing managerial return
Bilic has also been linked to Rangers in recent months as the 57-year-old continues to be assessed by a varying list of clubs.
That hasn’t yet transpired in a new job role as the ex-Baggies boss awaits a spot in a dugout after his Saudi Arabian departure.
Having been turned down by West Ham in favour of Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager hasn’t been discouraged on his journey.
Bilic has now spoken out to talkSPORT on 12 September to reveal his desire to return to the dugout either in the Premier League or Championship.
He said: “Who doesn’t? Of course, I am very excited about the prospect of returning to the Premier League or Championship with a club who want to go up.
“I think I proved myself in the Premier League and with West Brom. With my knowledge and experience, I think I would be able to steer a club in the Premier League.“
Bilic could make West Brom return
Bilic is well-liked by the B71 faithful and would likely be welcomed back if the need for a head coach were to become apparent.
Some fans regard the Croatian as overrated, but having helped Albion secure promotion to the Premier League, his work can’t be disregarded.
Ryan Mason can only dream of getting close to that achievement right now after what has been a frustrating start to the campaign.
If results under the Englishman continue to falter, the sack could be a realistic expectation this early into his tenure.
That could leave the door open for Bilic, who may be seen as a lower-risk option than someone in a similar ilk to Mason.
