Ryan Mason over the moon as West Brom omen emerges for QPR clash
Ryan Mason will be buzzing with West Brom’s recent record against Queens Park Rangers.
Mason is desperate to stave off sack pressure at West Brom, and his side got back to winning ways with a dramatic 3-2 win over Swansea last time out.
The Hawthorns outfit travel to London to face QPR on 6 December, and the manager will be hoping to continue the momentum.
A positive result at Loftus Road against Julian Stephan’s side could start the promotion push that Mason needs to revive his first managerial role.

West Brom have lost just once in their last 12 vs QPR
The Baggies have an exceptional record against QPR in recent years, and that is surely a good omen for Mason as he tries to continue his West Brom turnaround.
Since the 7-1 home win in August 2018, Albion have suffered just one loss against the Hoops, a 1-0 defeat on the road in January 2022.
They have won a further seven meetings, with three draws between the sides in the period in question, which bodes well for the Black Country outfit.

The Throstles have scored 27 goals to their opposition’s 12 goals in that time.
How far are West Brom from the play-offs?
Mason’s side are just four points away from the final play-off place, which is currently occupied by Bristol City.
The Baggies sit 12th in the second-tier, with seven wins, four draws and seven losses, from their opening 18 league matches.
Given the uncertainty of the division, things can change rapidly, and if they can put together a few wins on the bounce, they could find themselves right back in contention.
Mason needs time to implement his ideas, and drive his side up the table, rather than Shilen Patel and Co. chopping and changing already, and continuing the cycle of doom that has kept the Baggies in the mire.
The ex-Tottenham man has shown encouraging signs, and he is inexperienced as a manager, but he will learn as the season goes on.
It may be seen as a gamble to keep him in place, however, that may be exactly what Albion need to shake the cobwebs and secure a long-awaited return to the Premier League.
