Ryan Mason to make tactical tweak in four changes – West Brom predicted XI vs QPR

West Brom are set to travel to QPR on Saturday as they look to build upon their recent win.

Ryan Mason’s side came back to beat Swansea 3-2 at The Hawthorns on the weekend, in what was a stunning victory after being 2-0 down at half-time.

The three points have helped renew the Baggies’ playoff hopes, with the Black Country outfit now just four points off sixth.

While Mason has been under pressure in recent weeks at West Brom, reports have indicated he is still being backed by the hierarchy, especially after their recent win.

However, the manager will be expected to make multiple changes for their trip to MATRADE Loftus Road Stadium.

Ryan Mason to stick with the side that made the comeback against Swansea

Going into the match, Mason would be stupid not to stick with the same side that made the comeback against Swansea in the second half.

After going 2-0 down, the manager made four changes at the break and altered the formation to a 4-4-2.

Considering how well this worked, the Englishman will surely look to start with the team against QPR and make the same tactical tweaks to his formation.

Therefore, Josh Griffiths will remain in goal, with George Campbell coming in for Alfie Gilchrist at right-back.

Callum Styles will remain at left-back, with Krystian Bielik coming in to partner Chris Mepham in the centre of the backline.

Into midfield, and Alex Mowatt will continue to partner Jayson Molumby.

Going forward, Samuel Iling-Junior and Isaac Price are both dropped, with Karlan Grant coming in on the right and Josh Maja partnering Aune Heggebo up top.

West Brom have stunning recent record vs QPR

In recent years, the Baggies have routinely dispatched QPR whenever they have faced each other.

In their past 12 meetings, the Black Country outfit have only lost once, winning the other eight.

This includes a double over the London side last season, with West Brom beating QPR 1-0 in their last meeting.

Now, Mason will be hoping to continue this encouraging trend when the two sides meet on Saturday.
