QPR vs West Brom: Match preview, weather forecast and all you need to know
West Brom make the trip to Loftus Road on Saturday as they look to make it back-to-back Championship wins for Ryan Mason.
Mason’s job as West Brom boss has been called into question with his side sitting 12th in the division after 18 matches.
Albion’s stunning 3-2 comeback win over Swansea City has temporarily lifted the dark clouds that had been gathering, but a tough trip to West London now beckons.
Ahead of that contest between two sides locked on points, West Brom News rounds up all you need to know.

Match preview
West Brom‘s win over Swansea was just their second in their past eight matches, making all the talk surrounding rookie boss Mason‘s future understandable.
QPR were beaten 3-1 away at Norwich City in their last match, meanwhile, with that ending a run of back-to-back wins and no defeat in three.
| Position | Team | Points | GD |
| 12 | West Brom | 25 | -2 |
| 13 | QPR | 25 | -6 |
Julien Stephan’s side had lost three games in a row at Loftus Road prior to beating Hull City 3-2 there last time out, with that an area that definitely still needs improving.
The good news for the Baggies is that they boast a great record in this fixture. Indeed, West Brom have lost just one of their past 12 against QPR, with that solitary defeat coming in January 2022.

Despite that, Opta’s supercomputer still has QPR as the favourites to beat West Brom this weekend in a battle between two sides separated by goal difference alone.
Weather forecast for West London
West Brom were given an allocation of 1,760 tickets for the game at Loftus Road and the away fans will certainly make their presence felt.
Those making the trip to the capital should prepare themselves for some mixed weather, as the Met Office forecasts sunny intervals and cloud until around 12pm, when light showers can be expected.
Temperatures will be between 11 and 12°C for pretty much the entire morning and afternoon, making for a rather mild day for this time of the year.
Travel information for Loftus Road
For those making the journey independently, the nearest tube station is White City on the Central line, which is about five minutes away.
Wood Lane Station, Shepherd’s Bush Market and Shepherd’s Bush are all also within a 15-minute walk of the ground.
As for those taking the bus, you want the 283 to Bloemfontein Road or the 72, 95 or 220 to White City Station.
There are limited car parking spaces at Loftus Road itself, which will also be the case for nearby streets, meaning it is not advisable to drive close to the stadium itself.
