Ryan Mason now odds-on favourite to be sacked after latest West Brom developments
Ryan Mason is flying dangerously close to the sack at West Brom.
Despite West Brom crashing to another 3-2 defeat against Southampton on Tuesday, Mason remains in post at The Hawthorns.
Many West Brom fans want Mason gone, with seven consecutive away defeats nowhere near good enough for a Baggies side backed for a promotion push.
Instead, the Albion currently sit 16th in the Championship.

Ryan Mason odds-on to be sacked at West Brom
Mason remains the favourite to be the next Championship manager sacked, after yet another defeat.
Major bookmakers have now shortened his odds to be sacked from 2/1 to 4/5, making him odds-on for the exit at The Hawthorns.

Other names on the list are also no surprise, with Marti Cifuentes next at 9/2, as Leicester currently sit 14th despite the squad they have.
Henrik Pederson, John Mousinho, Chris Davies and Nathan Jones are also at risk, it seems.
Who could replace Ryan Mason at West Brom?
Michael Carrick remains the favourite to take over at West Brom, having not secured another job since his sacking at Middlesbrough over the summer.
Shilen Patel has a choice to make, with pressure rising from expectant fans.
Carrick had several shots at promotion with Boro, but never quite got over the line, and it would be interesting to see what he changes to make that happen with the Baggies.

Many would argue that Boro at that time had a better squad than West Brom does now.
With Tom Fellows and Torbjorn Heggem sold and not adequately replaced at The Hawthorns over the summer, do the Baggies actually warrant talk of pushing for promotion?
Carrick may think that as well, and there is no point in rushing into sacking Mason unless there are appropriate replacements on the market.
Games are coming thick and fast for West Brom in the busy Christmas period, and only Patel will know if Mason will still be in charge by 2026.
The fans have made up their minds.
