Ryan Mason is already in a bad situation at West Brom and he has made it even worse with his recent comments.
With the Baggies sitting 16th in the Championship and already six points adrift of the play-off places, Mason is under huge sack pressure.
West Brom did beat Sheffield United 2-0 last Friday, which will give the 34-year-old a temporary reprieve, but it could just be delaying the inevitable.
Fans are far from convinced that Mason is the right man for the job, and it feels as though he is always a defeat away from crisis at the moment.
Ryan Mason has no answer to West Brom struggles
West Brom make the trip to Hull City on Saturday as they look to win two Championship games in a row for only the second time this season.
While the Midlands outfit have been fairly consistent at The Hawthorns, their away form has been dreadful.
The Baggies have lost seven consecutive games on their travels, a run which goes back to the start of October.
Speaking to Express & Star ahead of the clash with Hull, Mason revealed that he has no answer as to why his side are so bad away from home.
When asked about the reasons behind the losing run, Mason said: “I’ve got to be honest, I don’t think I’m in a position to answer that question because we’ve lost seven in a row away from home.”

Mason already has a less-than-favourable reputation among the fanbase, and these latest comments won’t help get the supporters back onside.
The former Tottenham midfielder has looked completely out of his depth at times this season, and this is another occasion where his lack of managerial experience is shining through.
Failing to provide reasons for West Brom’s shocking away form just proves to everyone that he is out of ideas, and doesn’t exactly inspire confidence as the Baggies head to Hull on Saturday.
Everything is pointing towards another defeat on their travels for the Midlands outfit, which would leave Mason under severe pressure once again.
